The I-94 Departure Record:

This was Ging's I-94 departure record, filled up and signed by her while still on the plane. Be sure to have one completely filled up and signed earlier ahead to avoid delays. If you don't have it, be sure to ask the flight attendant. It's always a good practice to be always ready before facing the immigration officer.

At the port of entry, the immigration officer will attached the I-94 departure card on your passport, and will be detached after you have your Adjustment of Status interview.
