I-130 Immigrant Petition for Spouse of US Citizen
Here are the documents my husband submitted (c/o our lawyer) to USCIS Vermont.
- A cover letter by the petitioner (my husband) - 2 pages
- Form G-28 (Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative (1 page), filled up and signed by petitioner and lawyer.
- Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative), filled up and signed by petitioner and lawyer. (2 pages)
- Form G-325A Biographic Information (2 sets), one set signed and completed by my husband, one set signed and completed by me.
- Passport color photos of me and my husband with signature at the back of photos. (I submitted 6 copies to reserve for extras).
- A copy of the Affidavit in Lieu of Certificate of Legal Capacity To Contract Marriage for American Citizens, signed by the petitioner and US vice consul.
- A copy of our marriage license. (My husband photocopies every kind of paper we handle...segurista! )
- A copy of our marriage certificate.
- Copies of my husband's divorce decrees of his previous marriage.
- Copies of my husband's birth certificates (he has two kinds...)
- A copy of my husband's passport pages (exit/entry stamps)
- Copies of my husband's boarding passes and airline tickets going to and from the Philippines.
- A copy of my birth certificate
- A check for the filing fee.
- Evidences of Genuine Relationship (we submitted lots of emails and chat logs!)
1. Copies of hubby's travel itineraries/boarding passes and plane tickets
2. Copies of hotel and wedding receipts while in the Philippines
3. Copies of hubby's phone bills
4. Copies of wire transfers (western union) and fedex receipts
5. Copies of hubby's passport stamps showing his entrance/exit to and from Philippines
6. Copies of our emails and chat scripts
7. Copies of some of our photos (engagement and wedding photos)
8. Copies of snail mails (letters/cards by hubby sent to me)
9. Copies of snail mails (letters/cards by me sent to hubby) - Snail mails that I sent to my hubby. Mostly were cards.
- Snail mails that my hubby sent me. Mostly were cards too. We included all those cards we sent each other when we were still engaged.
