Our Immigration Journey
"The Documents, Preparations & Timelines"

Welcome!
This site is all about our struggles of preparations, paperworks, the ups and downs, the pressures that we had to go through with the US immigration. As of this writing, our struggle still continues and still some more steps to go before Ging could finally end the ordeal of this tedious task.
Falling in love with somebody across the globe, 9,000 miles away (or even more) is not as easy as it sounds. But who are we to teach and control our human destiny as to when, how, why and who we love will occur, right? After all, God's leading where He wants us to be are always bound to happen. And with that, we consider ourselves blessed by God!
When it so happened that love caught you with somebody who is entirely in a different country, race and culture, and you suddenly analyzed you are having this LDR (long distance relationship), it's not a big joke.
Are we not glad and thankful that phone lines become our angels or even consider ourselves much luckier to see and talk to our loved ones through the internet? We couldn't probably imagine, what if we don't have this modern technology???
Anyway, we hope that this page could at least be of help for those who are still starting the "baby steps" of going through with the US immigration. This page of course deals specifically with spousal and/or fiancee' petitions, and all about our experiences. it's tough! We don't mean to discourage anyone who will be undergoing through the steps, and in fact it's really challenging, and we believe these steps are but just one good test on how strong the foundation of your love for each other. In this process, you are bound to "fight for your love and relationship".
Most of the documents we shared on this site are the ones we needed, used, and required by the US embassy, as well as we also posted some of the US immmigration forms that has actually been issued to us by the US embassy in Manila.
