Ging's Story:
The first meeting was actually online. But during that time, it was my time when I was never expecting somebody to really meet someone...you see, I was at my "downest part of my life". I was feeling very upset, sad and crying. I felt I was just a baby crying in the midst of no where, looking for someone to cling on. Very upset and sad because when it was the time that I needed help from the person whom I considered as a very trusted person, he would leave me! The worst thing is he was the one I thought I would be with for the rest of my life...God must have been telling me, "he is NOT for you", but I just don't want to listen to Him. God had to let me discover that the person I was loving is not the one. So, He gave me this test.
But God is always good and understanding. He knows my pain and heartaches that one day an email popped up leading me to Craig's special message to me. That was the beginning of our conversation.
My communication with him became very interesting as he would call me, text me or email me everyday. The most beautiful thing that happened was that he was with me when my heart was ailing...uplifting my spirits during the time that I felt really down, and the best part was he was praying for me a lot, be it on the phone, in his text messages or emails. He understood all my pains I was going through. And that made me felt he was becoming very special to me.
For about 2 months of communicating, he was full of surprises, either with material things that come at my doorsteps, (flowers and gift items) and would always surprise me in my emails too...the poems he would make for me are quite very touching and makes me teary-eyed as well.
Two months had past of constant communication, special feelings had really grown and bloomed so that he decided to come and see me, as well as my family. We were all very excited! It was such a great feeling for me because it seems that I have already known this man for a long time...I believe it's God's way of leading me that this man is His special gift to me :).
Craig's Story:
Ever been lied to, betrayed, let down or just used by someone you thought was special in your life? Wondered if God had left you and was no where to be found? I have been in that situation as well, trusting, believing only to be taken advantage of by someone you loved.
I was dejected and lonely, but God did what I believe is a miracle. I sent one final email to an unknown woman who said she was looking for a God-fearing man. She had given up on the internet, but just decided to look one more time :). She answered, I replied and we both quickly put the Lord in His proper place at the center of this new relationship. The rest is not just history but HIS-story. A story of God bringing us into each other's lives even though we live over 9,000 miles away (don't know how many kilometers that is). It has been full of peace, joy, love, a lot of missing each other and daily calls, text messages and chats.
The highlight of my day are those precious moments I spent with my beloved sweetheart, Angel Ging (her nickname is Ging-Ging). We share our kisses and our prayers with every communication and can not wait until we are man and wife.
I can honestly say that the people who have said it are right, that when the special one that God has chosen for you comes, you will know it! The deep love, romance, sensitivity and constant communication is only overshadowed by our ever deepening commitment to each other! I also think she is the most beautiful woman in the world, inside and out!
Praise God for His wonderful gifts! (James 1:17).
May 21 - June 1, 2004 - Craig's first visit to see Ging!
On May 21, 2004, Craig finally arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila via Cathay Pacific at 9:55 AM. It was the first meeting of them together. Both of course felt very excited to meet each other personally . And it was no doubt, the chemistry was perfect!
From the moment they met, it was a beautiful thing...the cupid took its aim and soon the magic grew. It's a LOVE that will stay, it's a BOND that is FOREVER! :)
